The sample covers online job-board signals, not every open analyst position in the GCC. Source coverage, reposting and incomplete posting text affect the results. UAE and Saudi Arabia support the strongest country reads; smaller markets are discovery baselines.

Why employer type matters
Three of the 10 highest-volume canonical employer names were classified as staffing or recruitment firms. This uses a strict definition: the organization recruits or places candidates for clients. A consultancy hiring people onto its own payroll is classified as a direct employer.
That distinction matters because a staffing firm's postings indicate client demand, not necessarily growth in the staffing firm itself. Repost networks can also make one vacancy appear several times. gulfgeek canonicalizes employer names, separates employer types and deduplicates repeated records before publishing aggregate counts.
Coverage and data quality
- 484 signals, or 37.1%, contain no detectable skill from the fixed 40-skill taxonomy.
- 86 signals, or 6.6%, include salary information.
- 273 signals have an unknown posting date.
- 32 signals have an unspecified city.
- The average confidence score is 75 out of 100.
How a signal enters the snapshot
The pipeline normalizes sampled records, checks title relevance and GCC geography, assigns one of 20 canonical analyst roles, records missing fields and restricted-source status, removes duplicates, then matches retained text against the fixed skill taxonomy. Rows outside the role scope, outside the target geography or identified as duplicates do not enter the published aggregates. Unverified values remain unknown.
